Desperation In B&W PB140360

Today was another grey, drizzly day, but on a positive note we have recorded more than three times our average November rainfall. We're only half way through the month and it's our wettest November on record (a mere 76mm).
Needless to say I didn't get out with camera so in desperation I pulled a saucepan and some asparagus to have a crack at the mundane-saucepan challenge.
I couldn't decide between colour and b&w so you got both.

Nice B&W, but I like the coloured picture!

I think I like the pop of red in the color version... it might be cool to try a combo of the two and make the pot red and leave the rest in B&W.

I like the colour version too

I am a big fan of black and white, but the red pot did it for me so I prefer that one.

Here shape and texture are everything, but I lean to the color one for overall interest.

just like taffy, the textures and shapes are enhanced. the pot though just seemed to be the in-between the dark background and the lighter shade counter. nice but you already aced the shot in the coloured version.
