I'm sure there are many of these - I think it's called blue-eyed grass - though it doesn't look like any grass I've ever seen! - but I've never seen one with 8 petals. It really is this blue.

I Googled 'blue-eyed grass' and got the name 'Sisyrinchium'.
It is gorgeous. As @aikimomm said, true blue flowers are uncommon and special. I love them. Beautiful capture, Milanie, the pov shows off the pretty geometry of the flower perfectly.
