Why Don't They Fall Off the Edges?

The best thing about a shower is the chance to practice shooting raindrops - not too many with reflections but did like the clarity.
Good question and nice contrasting colors

Beautiful shot! Hydrogen bonds make water seem "sticky". The positively charged hydrogen is highly attracted to the negatively charged oxygen in the case of water molecules. I do an experiment with my fifth graders where they have to guess how many drops of water will fit on the surface of a penny. Once we control the variables as much as possible, about thirty five will fit before spilling over the edge!

@luvmynynix That is so interesting, Laurie. That's one I never tried with the kids. Thanks for the science lesson!

Great question, and I enjoyed Laurie's answer. I learn so much on 365! Lovely capture! Wonderful contrast between the fresh, vibrant green and the old brown; and I love your incredible knack for clarity.

Great shot - yes, it's amazing how the drops don't fall off the edge.

Fabulous water drops and the wet leaves as a background are wonderful! I did the same science lesson Laurie described with my third graders and they always enjoyed it. :-)
