Past Its Time

Never noticed what a magnolia looked like after it finished blooming. Found this huge tree - must have been an old home site - near the highway and this bloom was pretty far up.

Our magnolia tree has been full of blooms this year. I think the flowers are every bit as pretty in this stage as they are when they first bloom.
