Today was work downtown with the flowers. I had just finished for the morning, standing in the street, waiting to cross to the sidewalk here. I heard sirens, turned and saw 3 police cars with lights spinning following the black hummer. Held back on crossing. They were coming down the main road (the one you're looking at intersects with it) and the hummer turns right to head towards the interstate. The 3rd police car - can't see it - rams the hummer to get him to stop (stolen car) the hummer rams into the building where my daughter works - alone in there - she runs to the window to look at what happened and sees 3 police officers jump from their cars and pull their guns - she locks the door to her office and is trying to decide whether to get under the desk - but comes back to the window to watch. All the time I'm waiting to cross the road - why am I worried? My car is parked about 6" (as I found out) behind that hummer! Just barely missed my Subaru. Was another 45 minutes before they'd let me leave. So that was my day!
Wow, oh, wow! What a story! Like you expect to happen to someone else - always! I am glad that you and your daughter are both ok. Now you have a good story to tell for a long time to come!
OMG! Like watching a TV program film in the street in front of you! Except it was really your car that could be damaged, and I'm guessing your daughter was more than a little concerned. What a day!
