One problem with traveling is that you don't know the good spots to shoot from. But fortunately the color spread far enough southwest to see from the balcony.
Am dealing with a major problem. Probably second degree burns on the top of both feet - Kept sunscreen on face, arms, legs - but neglected the feet (at the time they were covered with socks and shoes and it just didn't ring a bell) They've formed large blisters that I'm working hard to keep from bursting. No shoes - wearing slipper socks and keeping them elevated every chance I get. Look a little strange going in WalMart, but ---. I seem to be able to drive ok - will just make a longer trip home with more breaks. Not going to let this spoil my trip. It didn't slow down my picture taking a whole lot :)
Oh, my, so sorry to hear about your burns! That sounds miserable, and sort of like something that would happen to me... Lovely sunset, hope the rest of your trip is glitch-free.
This is beautiful. Milanie, if you can get a big pan and put ice cubes and ice water in it, you can put your feet in it. That will help more than anything. So sorry about this.
Forgot to say, immerse feet for a minimum of 20 minutes, out for a few minutes then back in the ice water. If you can do this for as long as you can stand it then do it again in the morning, it will help!
Beautiful sunset. Sorry about the sunburn. Know what your going through, for sure. You might try putting some aloa vera on there also. That usually helps and may take away some of the swelling also.
The colours - so stunning! The same with your burns happened to my husband when we were on the cruise. He simply forgot about the top of his feet and then he got massive burns there too with blisters. From fellow cruisers we got some aloe Vera cooling gel - that helped a lot. Maybe you can get your hands on it ?!
Oh, this is beautiful. What a wonderful sunset with all those colours in the sky and lucky you to witness it. Sorry to hear of the sunburn - safe journey home.
Beautiful in every way! Oh, Milanie, I’m sorry to hear about your sunburn. How painful it sounds! Please take good care of yourself, and I wish you safe travels.
Very stunning sunset with such warm vibrant colors. The reflection of sunlight and water are a recipe for bad burns before we realize it. we`ve all been there at one time probably. Aloe can be healing.
Sorry to hear about the sunburn. Take care.
