Heard a loud thump against the patio door - and found this guy sitting just outside the step - didn't want to startle him so I waited until he recovered - at least slightly - to open the door and go out. He hopped off a few steps and posed. Another 5 minutes and he flew off, none the worse for the hit. Not exactly sure what he is.
That is a cracking picture it stand out well with the white snow . Exspoure is very good with all that white around him poor little thing looks very cold
What a beautiful capture, it caught my eye on the PP page. The poor thing looks so vulnerable but it's great you could capture the moment, and so well.
