Beautiful capture. The butterflies in my garden are so mobile, not stopping much despite the lovely new spring blooms :)

Beautiful shot Milanie! I know who I am contacting if we ever get a butterfly project!! Amazing!!

@kt8ird Wish we lived closer - this ex-teacher would love to be involved!

@milaniet That would be lovely! They both love school and are doing so well. I learned early on to quit interfering when they were done with my help. So, their projects may not be perfect, but one of my eldest's teachers to me to go with it. They can tell who has parents "helping" or not. My 6th grader has been finishing up her projects by herself for a couple of years. More then you wanted to know, but I bet you would like the girls and vice versa!

Stunning details and color. Great job Milanie!

@kt8ird They both seem like such well adjusted easy going girls (you can tell a lot by their smiles and body language). As I always use to tell parents, that shows a good family background! What grade is the younger one in?

Aren't you lucky to still be getting butterfly shots. nice dark colors.

The butterflies are still floating about here as well but I think they've had their last 80° days. Looks like 70s and 60s from here on out. I'll be tickled about that myself. Your fall colors are yet to be found on the wings of butterflies and you're capturing them beautifully!
