I think he must have been watching the mockingbird do his posing - first time I've had a bluebird stay still long enough to get a shot in a while. Would love to have caught a side shot to show those blue feathers - but today I was glad to get any shot.
What a beautiful bird, and a wonderful capture. The only thing I'd change is straightening that post to go straight up and down, since it's only slightly askew. Great composition otherwise. :)
I would be thrilled to have the chance to photograph a bluebird. I'd have to SEE one first tho. I know they're around here in the summer months but the glimpses are only fleeting and too far way for a decent picture. Well done with your little beauty here.
