Better on black. These pretty little vibrant pink flowers appeared today for the first time down by the creek. I've hunted everywhere and can't find what they're called, but they really glowed.
Don't know what they are either, other than beautiful!! What a vibrant color and love the lines in the petals!!! There is much more details on the black and shows the centers much better!! You can go on Google, and in search, type in little pink flowers, click on it and then click on images!! More than likely you will find your flowers that way!! It's what I always do!! Anyway, love them and big FAV!
Wonderful capture, with this nice dov and vibrant colours. If I had to guess (and not knowing, of the size and the leaves form), I'd would also say (like @aikimomm ) its Oxalis debilis / corymbosa. @aikimomm
@aikimomm Thank you for the identification - when I looked up oxalis (also called violet wood sorrel here) there is a strong resemblance. I believe that may be it.
Beautifullly composed and taken. I se what you mean about viewing on black, it really pulls out the details. I love the veining in the petals.
I also think they are an Oxalis of some sort.
