Who Am I? by milaniet

Who Am I?

I'm guessing he's a juvenile - but a juvenile who I don't have any idea. With that beak , those black legs, the marking over his eye, and the straight across tail I didn't expect to have such trouble finding him. Hoping someone can help me out. He spent quite some time hopping along the water's edge on the rocks. Is he in the wren family @annepann?

Wonderful, sharp focus showing every detail. I can imagine how excited you were to spot him (or her). I'm not familiar with this species, but wow, it's a beauty!

Can't help with an ID, but love the detail you have captured in this. My son-in-law once posted a picture in Google search and asked where it was and google told him. Maybe it would do the same for the bird. I think it was maybe Google image.
