Look What Popped Up Over Night

I've been watching the area where these Star of Bethlehem flowers usually appear and today they were there. How do they do that - yesterday nothing and today 3" tall! In another day or so the whole side of the walk for about 20 feet will be covered with these sweet flowers - until the mowers come. But they come back!
lovely perspective, composition, lighting and focus, love the single strand of web!

Like magic! I've never seen a Star of Bethlehem flower, so I'm thankful for this glimpse. They're quite beautiful, and I can imagine the lovely look of a long swath along the walk as you described. I love the included spider web!
