We made our annual trip 3 hours south of here to Hot Springs, Arkansas to the Garvan Woodland Gardens and caught the tulips just right. They plant - every fall - well over 100,000 tulips (and sell the bulbs of the ones they remove). There was color everywhere you looked. Could spend the month posting shots from there!
You've had a great day today. Three lovely photo. Wish I was there to see all those tulips. They're still a while away from blooming around here. But it's only 40 minutes to two hours here to get to the botanical gardens, depending on the traffic. Might go see the desert wildflowers next week if things work out right. About one hour.
