The thrasher is usually a rather slick looking bird - quite in control of himself. He had just dipped down in a puddle and flew up to shake himself out. A disheveled looking guy right now.

I'm sorry i wasn't aware of his death, but after the news of the sudden death of Peter, and all that followed, I haven't been on 365 for a month. I'm so impressed you were able to post pictures on 365 over this period. 365 is certainly an amazing site and the thoughtful kind words from so many "strangers" around the world is such wonderful therapy to help us deal with our grief.
