Chased Him Down

I could get pictures of him on the flowers but always in the closed position. Finally got this Monarch to spread those wings. Also from the Botanical Gardens.

Well done, some butterflies can be very difficult to catch in this position - usually those with the most spectacular markings visible only with their wings spread out!
Monarchs' markings always put me in mind of stained glass windows.
