For some unknown reason, when I see two of these together I think about the Carnival - and rides like the tilt-a-whirl and others that swing around a center pole. Never liked them then so don't know why that popped up :)
They look a similar the Passion Fruit flower. My daughter grows these in her garden but they are a slightly different colour so not 100% if these are the same.
@kipper1951 I imagine they're the same - I've seen these in several colors locally - from all white to variations of pink to this purple. The fruit is now getting to be good size.
