Loved the rising mist from the little pond as I came back from walking this morning. Nancie and I worked the community Thanksgiving dinner today for the first time. What an awesome experience. What started out 5 years ago by a girl I taught and her husband as a way to give those without a family (and at no cost) a happier Thanksgiving - she had 40 people that year - this year we served nearly 200 take-out plates and close to 100 served in the hall. They cooked 22 turkeys and 10 hams - our small community was most generous in donations. I've never seen a more organized endeavor. It was a wonderful day. We'll have our Thanksgiving tomorrow with my daughter and son-in-law and his grown boys. Happy Thanksgiving!
Your image is the perfect Thanksgiving shot - love the colors and the mist. Your POV is perfect. Your day serving your community sounds wonderful. I am not surprised that you spent the day serving others - Happy Thanksgiving sweet lady!
What a beautiful golden capture Milanie. I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving - it sounds like you did your bit for the community. A nice way to spend the day.
