Try against black. Just happened to be at Rockefeller Center when Saks 5th Avenue displayed their Christmas lights show to Christmas music. What a fabulous treat! The colors and scenes were continually changing.
Looks pretty spectacular! I remember in my college years getting together with several friends to walk up and down 5th Ave looking at the Christmas displays and seeing the tree and decorations in Rockefeller Center. Such a fun time. NYC is truly festive during the Christmas season. Sounds like you're having a good visit!
