Fort Chaffee

BOB. Originally built in 1941 as a training camp, it has also served as a POW camp and refugee camp. Closed in 1955 it is now used by the Arkansas National Guard for training. During WWII, over 3000 German prisoners were housed here. Later, Vietnamese and Cuban refugees as well as Katrina storm evacuees found this as a temporary home . It has been the setting for 4 movies.
What a great shot of this building that has been well used. It seems to be in need of some TLC now :)
