The frequent heavy rains this spring have really taken a toll on the trees along the Mulberry River. It's not going to take much more until we lose these two trees into the river.
They do look like they could tip over at any point. We've had flooding 2 out of the past 3 years and it's sad to see the erosion that can so quickly occur.
It all depends on how deep the root system goes I guess but these two look surprisingly steady to me for the erosion that took place under them. But that's just what I see- Mother Nature has her own way! Good shot.
Hope something can be done soon, before these trees are washed away
