Caught in the Light

Went hunting for the pelicans, but they were on the other side of the dam wall - but then this gull flew by and I liked the way he was caught in the light.

I like the blur. Check out some of the photos in "The Creation" by Ernst Haas if you have a chance to go to the library. He took this technique even further photographing birds, horses and wildebeests.
