What Next Out the Bedroom Window?

I was at the computer when a flash caught my eye - a blackbird - not a big fan of there's so I was getting ready to tap on the window when I noticed him standing oddly on one foot. Got to watching - he had a snake in his mouth - don't know if he was cleaning it off before eating or trying to drown it! He'd put it down in the water, get a bite, and pick it up again. Finally flew off with its remains in his mouth.
Great capture!!

That is a one in a lifetime shot Milanie I hope he didn't choke on that fat worm. His head has nice blue coloring and the little yellow eye make for a lovely contrast... :)

this is a fascinating shot. I'd be thrilled with myself if I took it. Because of the way it's captured the snake and its standing on one foot plus the beautiful blue hues around its neck of its feathers.
