Yellow Orange by mimiducky

Yellow Orange

We harvested about 15 oranges a couple of weeks ago, but there will be another, smaller harvest in a few days. This is one of the oranges that should ripen soon - at the moment, it's looking pretty yellow...

I should mention the leaves right above it are not citrus leaves, they're the leaves of an invasive, twisting, strangling, thorny vine we can't seem to get rid of (I forget the name). The leaves below the fruit aren't citrus either. They're Spanish needles - a tall, very invasive weed that can grow to 6 ft. in height and easily the same in width. Easy to pull when they're small, but almost impossible when full grown. We have thousands of these in the yard and they reseed freely.
