I saw my first dandelions yesterday! I was thinking about photographing them. I love your POV. very original and not something I would have thought of.
those wonderful dandelions...nicely done and some bokeh too....Have to share this. My nephew mows lawns. To start the season he did a complimentary mowing. Was soon notified he had mowed their " rare specially planted dandelions!!!!" These don't reseed and only come up in the spring. Who would have guessed there are specialty dandelions that people actually like in their grass???????
@jpvona Thank you Jill, and I liked your story about your nephew and the special dandelions. I've never hard of that either. Too funny! They should have told him before he mowed the lawn.
I've never heard of the specialty dandelions either, but I do love them coming back each year in my yard!! I won't cut the grass until they have gone to seed (puff) My kids used to pick them for me when they were little and called them "bouquets" for me!! So, I don't have the heart to mow them!! Did you lay down to get this photo? I love the "worm's eye view" of this photo!!! FAV!
@cashew Thank you Kathy. I liked your story about not mowing your dandelions until they go to seed. I didn't lie down to get this shot. I was sitting on my patio with camera in hand with the long lens on it and just pointed it at the grass looking for a good shot of the dandelions. If I had laid down I probably wouldn't be able to get up again. LOL
