Like the idea here. Nice shot. But what is that bizarre construction on the road truck ahead? Wow... that is some sort of "thing". Just dark enough to entice, just weird enough to drive me nuts? LOL.
Cool picture.
@netkonnexion I don't know what kind of truck it is but I will ask my husband when he gets home. There were two of them and some pace cars leading them and following them with blinking lights on. It was kind of impressive looking. Thank you for commenting. I'll try to get back to you on it.
@mittens I think it is one of those machines used for patching shallow cracks in the road. I think the way it works is loose gravel is first put down on the shallow crack then a big flame is applied causing the gravel to melt into the asphalt. They have been using one of these in our township to repair a main road.
@netkonnexion@pej Well, my husband doesn't think it's road work equipment. He thinks it has something to do with the energy or oil industry. They did have signs that said "wide load" on them so that's probably why they had the escort vehicles with them. The one truck had an Oklahoma plate on it and the escort cars were from Mississippi. We may not know what they are but It sure was interesting.
Cool picture.
( Line up are most of my country pic.`s as most of our trees are.)
