This covered bridge is located in Washington County PA and is located on a one lane dead end road near the highway and it crosses over Pigeon Creek.. My husband had heard about it and was able to find it on one of our drives.
I like these covered bridges. There was a person I followed on 365 - forgot the name - but haven't seen her for years who posted pictures of many covered bridges and was making a photo collection of all that exist. I have never seen one in Europe.
@bruni No, Bev was in Vermont. Marilyn is in Pennsylvania. But if the bridges were constructed around the same time they would look very similar.
There is something special about these bridges- they capture your fancy. Nicely captured!
@sangwann That was Bev Owens- she lives in Vermont where there are literally hundreds of covered bridges. She's still there but not on 365 anymore. I think she had captured about 80 of them!
