wow they are stunning Shirley, just off the beach in Safety Bay you can take the boat to Penguin Island, it is about 5 minutes away,and you can see the penguins in their burrows if you care to look for them, they also have an enclosure where sick or injured penguins are looked after, i haven't been ther for years but it is in my bucket list to reviisit the island.There is a sand bar that you could walk accross, but because there have been so many injuies because of the rising tide that there has been deaths and people injured, so now if you walk accross you will be fined,..... cheaper to catch the ferry i think.
Shirley, I've said it before, but I'll say it again. You take such beautiful flower shots. And I wish to say thanks for your comment on my photo, "evening time". I do hope you can make it to Montana one day. :)
