Mom

Found the bobcats this morning. Actually, they found me. As I walked down the path, this bobcat mother & her 2 kittens crossed just ahead of me. This bobcat was carrying a rabbit in her mouth. We she saw me, she dropped it. I backed away & proceeded to get my camera out. She picked up the rabbit & led her kittens into the bushes. I could spy mom thru the bushes but unable to see the kids. Had to "doctor" this pic up quite a bit. The kittens are getting bigger......

OMG!! I think if I EVER ran across these cats I would faint! Great catch!! Is that the mom? Sje doesn't look that big, but her markings are gorgeous! Way to go!

@hillcrest The females are small. I think my previous shots distorted this. There was a male a couple of years ago that was huge. I had to reassure myself it was really a bobcat, shot tail....yep!
