2015-12-18b focus stacking

Gave a try at focus stacking. The star cookie cutters where on hand, so I used them as objects. 13 single pictures and some "etsooi" involved.
Kind of happy, with this first try, but it also feels weird as I'm looking normally for bokeh and blurry background. If you care, I like it a bit better on black.
Makes for a nice shot. Very dramatic.

It does look fantastic on black. I have no idea how to stack but it does look pretty cool.

You did a great job with this! I'm with you - I'm so into blurs and bokeh, focus stacking is different, but I love the sharpness it gives all the cookie cutters. And it does look good in b&w!

Neat shot! It's funny that we are always trying for the bokeh to make our photos feel special, but you turned us right on our heads with this one.

Wow, impressive first try - its great. I have yet to try this - I don't have the patience at the moment.

Super unusual capture of fairly mundane objects! Lovely image!

Not sure what focus stacking is, but this certainly is a striking image!

It does have to be seen on black - and I should say you pick the best subjects for stillife-photos. I love those reflections and broken lines and different light patterns. Very clever!

I think it's a great shot and I've not tried this "stacking" process yet and may need to give it a try. Wonderful image M. :)
