Karly @365karly1 and Carole @yorkshirekiwi asked for a little lesson how I do my "rainbow coloured shots". As I'm always highly inspired by all the 365 friends and I learned a lot on this project, I am more then glad to share some of my experiences to help others to find solutions and improve in photography. Of course every picture has its unique grow and evolutionary history and more often than not, I’m not able to accomplish the picture I have in mind. This is telling me, that I have to be in the learning process always and the mind-set has to be flexible. Often there are different ways to get a result and it is fun to find its way.
So every picture I do for the rainbow month is achieved differently and I use a million of different things to achieve the bokeh.
Thank you so much Mona, a great in sight. We did a similar thing with Christmas lights and props with our camera club. I would never have thought to put that experience into this challenge. Like how you used coloured files. Inspiring!
Thank you so much, Mona. A perfect explanation with details and photos to explain. A lot of work for you to put that together so thank you very much for being so generous with your time and knowledge. I have bookmarked your website and am enjoying it very much!
Mona, I have admired your photography skills for a long time. You are an inspiration and extremely generous and kind to put this tutorial together and share it. Thank you.
It was fascinating reading your link to the tutorial. I understand now a lot better about how you can experiment to get different looks to still life shots. Still have a long long way to go to achieve them though. You're wonderful to share all your knowledge with us. Many many thanks.
Fascinating, it's so good of you to share your techniques. I'm not surprised your images are so beautiful when you put so much effort into creating them.
