2016-02-16 Hammer Mühli "the little hammer mill"

These houses were once the first forerunners of industrialization in this location. - The left half timbered house was built in 1657, and equipped with several trip hammers and used as nail factory. An undershot water wheel converted the energy of the free flowing water of the Lorze River to power several trip or also known as helve hammers.
