2016-03-03 Vallunga (long valley)

Last night we got quite a lot of fresh snow. What a great excuse, to take my day off skiing. I hiked all alone the Vallunga (a wonderful, lonely valley, called the long valley) and made some fresh tracks in the snow. It took me exactely five hours, including a rest and several photostops. It was so nice and quiet. Loved,it all the way. (Not that it was less exhausting then a day on skies with hubby M.)

@sstcowan Just to be precise. Depending on not knowing exactly how big "my part of the world" is, this is probably not "my part". This was taken in our skiing holidays in the Dolomites, South Tyrol, northern Italy. We live 500km away westwards, in Switzerland.
