2016-06-17 storm brewing

“And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what a storm’s all about.” ~ Haruki Murakami

I went down to the lake with the hope to get a nice sunset, but then this huge storm was forming and I forgot about the setting sun. The yellow shine in the clouds normally means at our place, that there is a hail storm forming. When I got the weather warning text "code red", I turned around and went home. But yes, I still got drenched. Really, drenched to the bone. (Camera safe and ok!) Totally worth it, and of course I'm not made of sugar.
wow that is like something from a Turner painting
