After the week of the H-Boat Sailing World Championship (unfortunately with some days in the doldrums) there is a 3 day festival to celebrate the lake, sailing, the people and summer.
One of the attraction is blobbing. For those not familiar with blobbing and not having it in their daily routine: blobbing is an outdoor water activity in which a participant sits on the end of a partially inflated air bag (known as a blob), well protected with wetsuit, corselet and helmet and is launched into the water when another participant (or two) jumps onto the air bag from a high tower on the opposite side. So much fun!!!
Location: Brunnen, Lake Lucerne (Vierwaldstättersee) just after sunset.
