This lake is a natural rowing lake on the northern edge of Lucerne. It is 2,400 metres long with virtually no current and is protected from winds by nearby hills. All this makes the lake an ideal rowing venue. Of course at the moment, only tufted ducks, mallards and great crested grebes populate the water.
