2017-12-25 leave always room for dessert

This year it was my responsibility to bring the dessert to our family Christmas dinner. This was the sample plate I arranged at home, so hubby and I could drape later the homemade sweets 14 times more or less identical. Did work ok, but not perfect. I'm always overstrained preparing food for more than two people.
For my record: Exotic fruitsalad, chocolate cake with caramel net, orange mousse with orange kaviar and at the side some peppermint pesto and a (not homemade) chocolate truffle .
Oh, this looks so yummy and so much more accomplished than anything I've ever tried to make. I hope your guests liked it!

@northy Thank you Northy. No Santa here, but the Christkind (Christmas angel) made me happy.

@quietpurplehaze Thanks Hazel,... well in Switzerland there is always a wide range of cheese in the house, and of course I would offer a cheesboard too, if I know people prefer cheese. :-)
