Sometimes I promise myself some me-time on Friday afternoons, when I manage to do most of my work, my chores and commitments in time. So today I treated myself with a "walk in the woods". But I was late and then it started to rain, as soon as I started my little walk. I did not care, and those two girls neither. They made themselfs a cosy shelter and it looks like this sweet Golden is sad, that he is left out. But it was not. It was invited to sit beween the girls but enjoyed the rain drops and observing a pair of coot. I was courageous enough to ask permission for a photo,... they laughed and said "yes". :-) Why only I am not brave enough to ask more often? I don't know, if I like this pic, because, nobody is looking in the camera, or because it is my proof that I had the guts to ask.
A very good shot. I have owned a golden and am fully aware of their interest in water and birds, I think he is very happy where he is. And for you, I'm glad you had the guts to ask.
Good for you to have the guts to adk. Most times I'm sure people are pleased to be in someone's photos. Good picture too. I like that they are looking away.
