@30pics4jackiesdiamond@northy@brigette Thanks Jackie, Northy and Brigette for your comments and your questions. Imho, there is nothing stupid about any question. To keep it short: There is an incredible amount of time fiddling with every picture to get it right, and no, there are no presets involved. (But probably this would be a good idea). I do try to get as near as possible, when taking the picture. Especially looking into light, colour, bokeh and white balance. But post processing is going into the details. There are many layers, colour balance/adjusting sliders and a huge amount of patience (not my strongest trait) involved. And I have a special folder, with all the posted pictures and I do try to match with the others. Also, if I have the time I try to add some colour of the previous and the following colour. This would give the calendar some smooth transition between the pictures. But it doesn't work out in all the pictures. BTW I find red and green the most difficult colours. And although I really like the calendar view, I do not like the work around it. It is more like “producing” a picture, than like being positively creative. That’s why I’m grumbling all the time, about this colour month. Please get in touch with me, if there are more open questions. :-)
@mona65 your images show all the behind the scenes work!
Sorry I meant creating your own ‘preset’ not a purchased one... I think I can do this in LR from frequently used settings and apply to other photos?! but it sounds like each of your images is bespoke 😊
@brigette Bespocken,... new word for me, thanks for that, and absolutely true. No worries Brigette, I did understand you correctly in doing my "own" presets or marcros. What is really a good idea, at least to have a picture going in the correct colour direction, and later doing the detail adjustments. It just didn't cross my mind yet. I could do it in PSE, as I do not have lightroom.
Magical and what they said! Do you create your own preset?
