2019-04-14 Oh no, not that white stuff again!

An alpine (Switzerland and Austria) red squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris) in its adult black fur phase munching seeds from a tree in the backyard is a rare sight. Our Squirrels are not very common and they are really, really shy compared with squirrels we met overseas.
This is just gorgeous Mona!

Sorry about the snow. Cute little guy with much bigger, tufted ears than ours seem to have.

Well captured, beautiful scene. I've been trying to capture 'city snow' and admit to massive failure! Cannot believe we are in the midst of a snowstorm mid-April!

Interesting photo. The squirrel is different than ours also. Your squirrel has cute pointy ears. Our squirrels are not shy. They jump on the picnic tables to swipe anything you take your eyes off. They are very smart.
