Yesterday started with rain, so we first thought to go and see the 2019 J.M.W. Turner exhibition "The Sea and the Alps" at the Kunstmuseum in Lucerne, organised in cooperation with Tate, London. But then we decided against it and went to Arosa in the Grischun Alps for a hike and to greet the bears in the Arosa Bear Sanctuary. On the way to Arosa we have been rewarded with some great mountain scenes that reminded us of "Turner". Or should I say scenes that could have been an inspiration for Turner? So we had a bit of both,... and the the Turner exhibition last until October, so still time to go.
this is delightful! can i ask what focal length you were using in this image? we will be in the alps area next month and i'm still fussing over which lens(es) to bring 😁
@northy Hi Northy, wow that is cool, that you have such great travels ahaid. I took it at 60 mm, with the "everyday, multipurpose lens" which is a Sony 18-250 zoom, from the driving car. Let me know if you are in my region and I can be of any help.
@northy And by the way, you can get maple syrup here. You just need to know where to look. It is available in health food store or on the health food shelfs (alternative sugar) in the grocery shops. ;-)
