Phacelia has tiny but beautifully shaped, nicely scented purple/blue flowers and is listed as one of the top 20 honey-producing flowers for honeybees, wild bees and is very attractive to bumblebees and hoverflies. In my language they are called "Bienenfreund" --> bees-friend.
These are planted for green manure, but they will bloom for some more weeks and a lot of insects will benefit, before winter.
