The newest addition in my balcony garden. I call them Milch Sterne (milk stars) (Ornithogalum) but I learned today, that there is a trivial name "Gärtners Tod", what would be "gardeners death" and of course I had to google why this is so,... Apparently they stay fresh in a vase for 5-6 weeks and thats why they gave it this name. Would be more the florists death, imho. But at least I do not need to be afraid that it kills me from behind, when caring for the other plants. ;-)
