A breathtaking and incredibly hot hike along the Suones / holy waters (irrigation channels), some of them 800 years old, from Hohtann to Rarnerchumma in the UNESCO Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch World Heritage Site. I was so glad thee was som shade at plarces like this. These famous historic irrigation channels transport precious water down from mountain streams to fields, vineyards and fruit orchards.
