The bud of my amaryllis is fully open and, as you can see, the plant has another bud. It seems incredible that a (relatively) small bud produces four huge flowers.
Because of the position of the flowers, back to back to each other, in Spanish this flower is called "suegra y nuera" (mother-in-law and daughter-in-law).
