Seeds by monikozi
What kind of seeds are these? Whatever they are, they're very cool, I like how you've arranged them. Nice image!

@aikiuser i have no idea. The pink berries opened to display those orange seeds. I picked them in the park, from a bush full of those pink berries. And the brown one is just a chestnut, with the capsule near it.
Thank you.

It`s the fruit(seed) of an Euonymus species.
Beautiful still live display and capture.

Nice contrast. Are those berries edible? That pink covering is similar to the cover on the pistachios.

@777margo thank you!
@spanner thank you!
@kvphoto thank you!
@ziggy77 thank you!
@pyrrhula thank you for the info. I had no idea. But the colours were beautiful. And these stayed overnight detached from the bush. When I picked them up the pink was very pale and the orange very bright, nut much more towards yellow. Overnight, the tones got darker.
@shutterbug49 thank you! I did not dare taste them. They might be poisonous. I picked them in a forest. They are surely not pistachios.

@bruni thank you very much! I really was careful. When I got inside, I went straight to washing my hands. And the same when taking the pictures.

@monikozi Wikipedia: The seeds are eaten by frugivorous birds, which digest the fleshy seed coat and disperse the seeds in their droppings. Many species are used for medicinal use, and parts of the plants can be poisonous to humans.[5]
