This came late in the afternoon, after sunset. Straight out of camera. I didn't even mask that blue light peeking through from behind. As a tweak, i used a vivid preset in my camera. It didn't improve too much the real scenery. The light was amazing. Too bad i don't know how to capture that on camera.
This came up after i shot 6 other photographs for today's post.
nikon has an in-camera function in its retouch menu called D-lighting; i find that if wanted to enhance the colour i captured to be exactly like the one i'm seeing with my eyes, i use that function. i don't know about the olympus and my olympus has such a temper i don't even want to explore it anymore than i have to. in the beginning i was so against post-processing. but what you see in the camera's little screen does not really translate the same thing when you look at it in the computer.
this one, though, looks real to me. believe me, i am constantly looking out the window at the sky and i am familiar with this colour of the sky at sunset. it's beautiful but kind of melancholy as a great beautiful day comes to an end. aces!
Thank you, @summerfield. Yes, i find it annoying sometimes that the camera does not render what i see. But hey, I'm so grateful that this is one of my problems.
And i am grateful for the pink sunsets too, even if i heard that they are caused by highly polluted air. And sometimes the sunrise is also pink. And above the pink in these sky, i enjoy even more the light when that sky is so pink. I feel like floating in honey.
