as to our snow. sometimes we do get snow already in November, but it doesn't stay for long. it gets a bit warmer the next day and the snow starts melting right away. the roads are clear. the snowplow just passed by. then we might have no snow in December and hope for snow for Christmas. one never knows. we change our summer tires to snow tires in November. snow plows clear our streets and highways constantly when we have heavy snowfalls.

Just that these days we don't have snow yet. Anyhow, the biggest difference is in the cleaning of the streets. Our authorities never cease to be surprised by the snow falling in december. The snow ploughs are never ready. Sometimes it takes up to a week before they take out the snowploughs.
