A few days ago, YT suggested this video https://youtu.be/r7wF7d04aX8
ICM is perhaps my favourite photography technique. Seeing this video determined me to get out from under my rock and do an exercise in photographing in the style of Olga Karlovac.
I just watched the video and love it Moni! As you know I am not a fan of b/w photography, but it opened my eyes. I love what you did here and look forward to see more of it.
Excellent take on this approach. And what an amazing photographer she is - will need to watch the video in full but I am already taken with the quote from my all-time fave Cartier-Bresson "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept."
I had not heard of Olga Karlovac before. Thanks for providing the link Moni, I found the video very interesting. I have dabbled with ICM but never when shooting people. I love her haunting, dreamlike images and your attempt at emulating her style is very good.
Great shot after the nice inspiration video.
I think I have photographed all the windmills in our province in the past. Looking back, see that it was quite a while ago. https://365project.org/pyrrhula/365/2016-03-01 + 3 more
