Terrific night shot Moni. The starbursts are created by the aperture blades in your lens. An aperture of f/11 or f/16 would have created sharper, more defined bursts of light. Your aperture here, f/5, has still created a pleasing burst. Nicely done.

But If you look closely at the 'starburst' in the current photo, it looks different. The light rays do not get pointy towards the exterior, but rather widen. And the way the light source shows, in the shape of the lamp, rather than a round glow. I find that fascinating. In the colour shot I referenced here, the starburst is the classic one.
@dkellogg Thanks! Unfortunately the image is not that clear. There is some blur there. The one on the left is the town hall, in art nouveau style (so they say). And the one on the right ('behind' the lamp) is the Roman Catholic church, with its clock tower. And they both open to the main square of the town.
