Praca do Commercio, Lisbon

I decided to practice removing distractions in PS. There were alot of elecrical wires in this photo. It took a while, but I got better at it and faster, It was very tedious. It looks OK posted on social media, but not great if it was printed up.
Nicely done with the cloning

Well done, I can't see any sign of distractions. I can't stand electrical wires and always try to remove them if at all possible.

A tricky shot to clone unwanted bits from! Skies are always tricky and the building has masses of detail. Well done.

It was worth the effort! I'm hoping to take time to practice such skills. Beautiful nighttime photo, by the way!

I just saw that you use the new Canon mirrorless! Did you transition from a Canon DSLR? What do you think of your camera? (Clearly you can take great photos with it . . .).

@jyokota I use both, but unfortunately, my Canon 80D broke when in Portugal. I was glad I had another body. It is now at the camera repair shop. I decided to keep it because it is a crop sensor and I get more focal length when I use my 100-400mm. I love my EOS R, but don’t buy it for the weight. It is still heavy, but not as heavy as the DSLR full frames. I bought it because it was more compact and also because I didn’t have a full frame. I was tired of waiting. It was also cheaper than the EOS 5D mark IV. It didn’t have IBIS or the megapixels I wanted. When they update it, I will sell this one and get the new one. The optics in the new RF lenses are amazing and the adapter ring works great without losing any functionality. I highly recommend it and if the issues that I mentioned don’t bother you, then you should get one.

@moonmtn -- I still love my 5D mark IV except for the bulk and weight -- such a fun and great camera. I think I will wait for the next iteration of the mirrorless -- thx for feedback!
